Swimathon is Among Us!

You should be receiving E-mails about Swimathon from our Swimathon Chair, Hannah Butler.  Please use this weekend to raise pledges and money for our swimathon.  Swimathon is such an important fundraiser for us because it helps with giving you the best Swim Team Experience as possible.  One of the purposes of the funds raised is to provide scholarships for some of our graduating seniors on our team.  Last year, we raised over 10,000 dollars and I know we can raise that again.

Swimathon is on Thursday May 26th.  It is also our Season Kick-off Swim Party.  We want everyone attending, swimming laps and having a great time.  More information will be provided next week!

Meet #1 - Time Trials is Monday, May 23rd

Monday, May 23rd is our first meet, Time Trials.  Unlike other season, Time Trials is an OFFICIAL Meet, which means these times can count for the league.  We really need every volunteer there.  We will be handing out ribbons, having concessions, the whole shebang.  If you still need to sign up for volunteering, please see our awesome Volunteer Coordinator, Jessica Vasquez!

Declaring your attending for the meet

This year, we are using SwimTopia for EVERYTHING!  We are also using SwimTopia for our meet attendance declaration.  Please watch this how-to Video to see how to declare your attendance:

If you are still having Trouble, please send me an email and we can figure things out.  We would like all meet declarations done by this weekend.

The following Timeline is our tentative schedule for the Meet,  I will send another Email Sunday with the most up to date information.  We totally understand that School is still in session, and will work around your school's schedule.  Please communicate with us and we will help you!

5:00 PMMeet Start

Again, please arrive by 3:30 PM with Swimmer Numbers and Event Lineup already marked on your athlete. We will start our meet promptly at 5pm.

Please walk or carpool as much as possible. School will still be in session and many kids may be walking home from school, it will be congested around the pool Monday, so please drive slowly.

Do not park at the "no parking" sections off Woodchester and Pinecroft.

Concessions will be sold. Bring your cash and support our team.

Please contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Jessica Vasquez, if you are unsure about your volunteer duties Monday.

The best practice you could do for your swimmer to get them ready for tomorrow is to drink plenty of water tonight and tomorrow morning. It will be plenty hot and swimmers forget that they lose a lot of water through sweat in the pool.

If you'd like to help setup for the meet, you can bring your chairs and start setting them up during our practice times. Please be considerate of others when setting up your areas.

Please Download the SwimTopia App!  It is how we are going to run our meet!  Let me know if you need any help!
