The Covington Woods Swim Team (CWST) has been competing since 1976 which is a huge accomplishment in the swimming community. This wasn't done alone - the Stingray's have had the backing of local sponsors, volunteers and the surrounding community every step of the way.
As a member of the Southwest Houston Recreational Swim League (SHRSL), we provide an environment of fun, safe, and highly competitive swimming for children ages 4 – 18.We are located in Covington Woods, a well established subdivision in the shadows of the sugar mill in
Sugar
Land, and have been a vital part of
Sugar
Land since 1976.
As part of the Stingray family, swimmers are given the opportunity to not only learn to swim, but to also learn the importance of teamwork, responsibility, patience, integrity, sportsmanship and community.
It's time for the CWST Stingrays to register swimmers for another season. We are pleased to announce that Brian Tucker is back as Head Coach. Coach Brian has extensive experience in swimming and is eager to cultivate a love of the sport in our swimmers in addition to teaching technique, improving speed and encouraging sportsmanship. He will be assisted this year by coaches Jerome "DC" Muniz, Madison Kauffman and Jessica Klipper.
