Stingray Scholarship Fund

The Stingrays believe every child who wants to swim should have the opportunity to be part of our team.

If your family is able, please consider making a small donation to our Stingray Scholarship Fund. These funds help support registration for returning Stingray swimmers whose families are experiencing extenuating circumstances this season. Being a Stingray means being part of a family. We support each other in and out of the water. Your generosity helps keep teammates swimming together.

If you or another Stingray you know is interested in applying for a scholarship this season, please reach out to the Board email

To donate, please indicate below and a $5 donation will be added to your registration cart. If you'd like to make an additional donation, please see our Additional Merch options at the end of Registration or on our website's Shop

Thank you for helping us make sure every returning Stingray has a lane this summer!

Parent Volunteer Agreement

Parent participation throughout the season is required in accordance with SHRSL rules and regulations. Families with ONLY Hope Team swimmers are not required to volunteer UNLESS their swimmer(s) graduates to the competitive team. CWST offers a variety of volunteer tasks based on your interests and availability. Volunteer work may be completed by either parent, and in some cases, by a swimmer or sibling (age 16 or older). Each family is responsible for completing a total of five (5) volunteer shift points per season.

Mandatory Volunteer Commitment

I UNDERSTAND THAT MY PARTICIPATION IS MANDATORY. In extreme cases where a family is unable to meet the required five (5) volunteer shift points, a $350 volunteer buyout fee may be paid at the time of registration to exempt my family from volunteer responsibilities. If by the final event of the season, my family has not completed all five (5) required shift points, I acknowledge that the credit card used for my swimmer(s) registration will be automatically charged $350. By signing below, I grant CWST permission to process this charge if my family does not fulfill the mandatory volunteer commitment.

Volunteer Opt-Out

This section is ONLY for families of competitive swimmers opting to pay the $350 volunteer buyout fee at the time of registration.

I choose not to volunteer and agree to pay the $350 buyout fee in exchange for exemption from all volunteer duties.

Code of Conduct Agreement - Swimmer(s)

The purpose of a code of conduct for swimmer(s) is to establish a consistent expectation for swimmer(s) behavior. By reading and understanding this code of conduct I agree with the following statements.

● I will always respect and show courtesy to my teammates and coaches in and out of swim.

● I will demonstrate good sportsmanship at all practices, meets, and other swim events.

● I will make sure to set a good example of behavior and sportsmanship for my younger teammates.

● I will be respectful of my teammates’ feelings and personal space. Swimmers who show any discriminatory acts or otherwise inappropriate behavior will be faced with consequences.

● I will attend as many practices and meets as I can unless said otherwise by my head coach.

● I will show respect for all pools and others property used during practices, swim meets, and team activities.

● I will refrain from foul language, violence, behavior deemed dishonest, offensive, or illegal.

● I will obey all of Covington Woods HOA pool rules and regulations regardless of being at a CWST sponsored event, or not.

● I will notify the head coach in writing if I must miss a meet, preferably at the start of the season, but definitely as soon as possible. If I become sick on a Monday morning, I will email the head coach immediately prior to the start of the Meet.

Any violation of this Swimmer Code of Conduct Agreement will result in the enforcement of the team's 3-Strike Rule. Which is as follows:

First Offense: I will be verbally warned with a conversation alongside with 1 or both of my parents, via the Head Coach.

Second Offense: I will be denied all participation in the next meet and will be removed from further consideration for all special awards (including high-point).

Third Offense: I will be removed from the team without a refund of registration fees and without a trophy.

With each offense, written notice will be sent home with the swimmer as well as a follow-up from either the head coach or board president.
